Screen locks when making a call

Hi. The screen on my Arc often locks when I make or receive a phone call. I'm unable to hang up the call and the only way to recover the phone is to remove the battery and reboot.

I looked on the support site and found this little gem:

Looks like a problem with my proximity sensor. I found the hardware settings menu and found the proxmity sensor test screen. It seemed to confirm that there's an intermittent failure to recognise when the sensor has been uncovered.

Is there any way to recalibrate the proximity sensor or do I need to replace my phone?

I think u shud go to ur nearby service centre and get it checked..

Try to repair your phone with Update Service
