Hi so Ive been enjoying my new phone and havent noticed any issues at all. However my friend says she is hearing lots of white noise, static on her end. I dont hear any white noise at all, in fact reception is crystal clear for me. She says she doesnt have this issue talking to other people but I'm really hoping its not my phone. Also she says that my voice comes through clear but it sounds like I'm "moving around alot". I called my land line so that i could hear myself and i found out the xperia is extremely sensitive and picking up every slight movement i make with my fingers. How can i fix this?

I don't think there is a software setting available on the phone to reduce the sensitivity of the microphone.

Hence you may have to be careful not to move your fingers too much during the conversations.

I wonder if you place some sort of sound dampening material over the microphone if this would help.

Of course it may cause some other sound problems for the perosn on the other end.
