Hi I have a vaguely related problem, I just bought a SE Elm and hoped to use it with my Samsung WEP470 bluetooth headset but so far the Elm is unable to detect the device. I have a V600i and K800i both of which find the device nicely, and the Elm finds my Lenovo and the 2 phones OK. I checked the spec sheet of the headset and it says 'version 2.1 + EDR' which is also listed in the Elm specs so compatibility seems to be ok. Many thanks for your help!

Since you can transfer from laptop to phone, you can still connect via BT.Which BT service are you using for this transfer, i.e, File transfer, Object push or Serial port? Try connecting (from the laptop) with a different BT service from the one you are currently using and then see if transfer from phone to laptop is possible.
