Well you could try using the default SE phone lock code 0000 (or add more zeros if it allows more digits), but failing that, I suggest that you try a different memory card and/or try this one in a different phone. If you think it's a software problem with the phone not recognising the card, then run the SE update service on it and/or perform a master reset, and see if that helps. If none of these actions solve the problem, take the card back to the seller and ask for a replacement.

No problem.I've just been reading on the subject of memory card passwords and it turns out that a lot of people face this problem following a software update on the phone.Apparently, software updates can sometimes delete a file in the phone that recognises the memory card, but there are no known solutions to this, because, as you also found, the card is not even recognised by the PC to be able to format it.It is also thought that these cards are faulty and the only solution is to replace them.Let me know how you get on.

"0000" obviously correct passwords, but the telephone writes " Error of formatting ".

Updating of the software I did not do, only has replaced a card of memory. It is rather strange. Today I shall look for the service centre, in which it is possible to format a card. If it nor will help, will come or to refuse this telephone (16 Mb of free memory it is insignificant poorly for the modern man), or to reconcile to a problem.

if there is anything displayed on the phone screen then this is where the problems is. To prevent this from happening make sure you leave the phone off when you have reinserted the battery and that you start to hold down the back button before you connect the cable to the handset. If performed correctly the handset will remain off and you will get a solid green light in the top right corner.

Now two problems instead of one - first, telephone still want to format a card, asks a code, and when I enter 0000, it writes " a Mistake of formatting ". The second problem - before updating I has merged all data on a site. As now them back to fill on the telephone. I include synchronization, the telephone blinks and "Synchronization" writes, but the quantity of files does not specify which it copies. Also what still frightens - whether will update to me the empty telephone book that is on a site - synchronizes again?
