Files location in Phone and Windows different?

On M5, using Album, I move the photos from one folder to another (eg, from A folder -> B folder)

From the phone's file explorer, I can see the pictures at the B folder

Now, when I plug the phone to computer (Windows), I explore the folders... the photos are still in A folder but phone showing nothing in A folder but in B folder

Anybody knows why?

Ok, I found the solution, tested working. Basically need to re-index

Settings -> Apps -> All -> Media Storage -> Clear Data

Then Reboot phone

Wait 5-10 minutes as content is reindex. As its being reindex it is normal that you won't see anything in your Music player, gallery, or even when connected to your PC.

I don't have this problem with Samsung. Is this common issue? Anyway to automate this?

Hi,

Glad to hear that you solved it. When you move a file it will be updated automatically, but it can in some cases take a longer time if you have a lot of media files for example.
I will forward this internally to see if there is something that we can do to speed up the process.

When you clear data for Media Storage, you will force the system to rescan all your media files.
