Hi all

I have had a SE W995 for a year or so and it's a very good phone. However I can't get GPS to work any more. It used to be OK, I could find my location using the Google Maps app but now it just hangs as though it was searching for a satellite fix. The connection status does the same thing, just saying "searching". I have tried many many times, both indoors and outside but the same thing always happens. I have even left it for an hour or so to see if it needs a lot of time - but nothing.

I'm on the UK vodafone network, the update service tells me I am on the latest software version (1215-7995 R1HA035 091210). Can anyone help?

Thanks

JC

Try phone repair via PC suite and failing that, a master reset.

Thanks Doc,

I've tried this and it looks hopeful, though I will have to wait until tomorrow to give it a proper test. I'll let you know if it works.

JC
