I don't have the enter button issue (never had it). But the only postive thing about the new update is better performance-thats it. All the other bugs present in the .26 firmware unfortunately remain. So it is totally down to you. You may have more luck than me.

Edit: Yes I am considering ditching the Xperia L, all it has caused me is trouble since day 1.

I am glad I got it for a bargain price, that is the only reason I have it. I would make a nice profit if I sell it.

Good afternoon,

I woke to the icon of the software update on my Sony Xperia L.

I had been waiting for it since the last update, which gave me a few headacher. Especially because it unabled my 'enter' button (it just doesn't work whatever setting I choose). I've been reading about the new update and it seems like it's all bad news... Has anybody who had the same 'enter' issue had it repaired with the 15.3.A.1.14 update? Are there any recommendations? Should I install ir or not? Do you have any ideas about when will we finally receive a proper update that actually fixes all the bugs? Is anybody considering ditching their Sony smartphones?

Thanks in advance.

We don't have Bravia engine, nor would I expect Sony to give it to us. Some say it is hardware based, others say software, & a few say it doesn't make a difference.
