Japanese Keyboard

Hi everyone,

I want to add the Xperia Japanese Keyboard to my phone is there anyway to do that, an apk for example, I'm using the google keyboard but I want to add the japanese to my exsiting Xperia.

Japanese keyboard come preinstalled on Xperia Z

Settings > language and input > Mark the Xperia Japanese keyboard

Now to use it, go to any app that uses keyboard, whenever you see keyboard on the screen, drop down the notification bar > Tap on choose input method > Japanese keyboard.

That is if it is already preinstalled, which is not the case, I didn't get my phone from Japan, so it is not there, I only have Xperia Keyboard and Google Voice, So how can I get the Japanese??

However, I extracted the apk file from my Z. Download and install it to see if it's working.

I tried to install it directly with no luck, but I will try again after rooting because it is the only way I know, if there is another way please inform me??

I think it should work after you root your phone.

Other way is to flash a (Firmware) ftf that already has a japanese keyboard. In that case you will have keyboard even on a non rooted phone.
