Mini Pro recharge issues: Doesn't charge some days, randomly.

When connected to my laptop, it disconnects randomly from USB every minute to two minutes, and occationally does not get reckognized. While recharging when connected.

(Same problem with three different USB cables, one brand new.)

When recharging, it does not charge (Except when it does charge; there is no apparent pattern -- and this has gone on for weeks: Randomly, it charges -- and at other times it does not, and finally, sometimes it doesn't charge before it has been drained completely and turned itself off due to low battery, upon which it has recharged "normally".)

It often goes into a loop when turned off and plugged into the wall:

the lights turn on for a couple of seconds, before the phone flashes the Sony logo for a couple of seconds -- then it turns back off. No recharge LED at any times. No difference between different chargers.

But when completely drained, it seems to recharge extremely slowly -- while it the battery would drain if full.

Sometimes, when it has not had the recharge LED on at all and looped for hours as described above, and I turn the phone on -- it has more battery than before plugging it in, and it starts recharging normally when turned on.

Finally, when checking my battery stats -- Android OS drains over 55% of all the power my phone uses according to the statistics.

(No apps running , no GPS, no WI-FI, no blue-tooth, no connected devices, freshly reinstalled software with PC-companion, standby mode all day.)

The problems began about a month ago.

Take it to a Sony repair center
