I an stunned to reveal that the Z1 as the Z ULTRA lack graphic equaliser?

why is it so?

Are you sure? the walkman app should have a 5 band equalizer

See for yourself the instruction manual(page 64: http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/c6902/userguide_EN_C6902-C6903-C6906_1_Android4.2.pdf. Compare it to instructions on XPERIA T or XPERIA Z and you will notice the difference.

I don't understand

Walkman > settings > sound enhancements > equalizer

and you also get other settings

surround sound, clear phase, xloud, just like the Xperia Z

Watch XPERIA T user manual -- WALKMAN APPLICATION -- TO IMPROVE THE SOUND QUALITY USING THE EQUALISER. Look at number 3:to adjust the sound manually DRAG THE FREQUENCY BAND BUTTONS UP OR DOWN. TO ADJUST THE SOUND AUTOMATICALLY, TAP AND SELECT A STYLE:http://userguide.sonymobile.com/referrer.php?region=global-en&product=xperia-t#!Using-the-music-player.html. Only the latter option is available on the XPERIA Z1, Z ULTRA and Z.

What is your question? the Z Z1 Z Ultra have an equalizer? I don't understand what is your question at all

The Z,Z ULTRA and Z1 have paramentric equaliser[SETTINGS] unlike the XPERIA T which features 5 band graphic equaliser.

This is my point:lacking of graphic EQ in all high-end Z models.

Why is it so?concentrating on high quality video and abandoning high quality audio?

I still don't see the differentce between my Xperia T and Xperia Z's equalizer, I have the same options (pre-set and custom)

Perhaps i'm misunderstanding you but i have a 5-band equalizer in my Z1 that i can adjust manually. Also in my Z.

Here's a screenshot from my Z1, are you asking for something else then this?

That is exactly what I am talking about which is definitely unclear by the user manual.Compare the Z1 user manual to the T user manual and you will notice the difference.

Yeah, the user manual for the new phones is not as detailed regarding this as the one for Xperia T. We still have the feature though.

Since it is so, I think user manuals of the Z models should be re-written to include the feature.
