First of all I would recommend you try to change SIM card in your phone to another Vodafone card. If the problem still persists with another card in your phone, you should try repairing the phone software via PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

I have also experienced the same problem twice with my Xperia Z (C6603) and it annoys me a lot.

If my network carrier (Telenor DK) has had a problem, and my phone looses its connection to the network, it does not automatically reconnect when the network is up and running again. I also have to reboot it first. It is a problem, because often you will not notice that the phone is not connected to the network.

This has happened with different versions of Android, also 4.2.2 build 10.3.A.0.423.

A proper solution to this problem would be appreciated.
