Facebook app network error

Hi!

I have had this issue with the facebook app a long time.

When I trie to use the facebook app from my Xperia V it shows network error or in swedish , nätverks fel.

I have no problems with it when im connected to my wifi.

I can use other apps and internetbrowser but this facebook app is failing on network error.

What to do for solving this issue?

I have latest update for the app.

update the facebook app and if you have taskiller or antivirus that might be blocking it

As uliwooly says, first update the app and see if that helps. I know there was a problem with earlier versions giving such a message.

If updating the app doesn't help, try removing proxy/port from your operators internet settings under Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> [your settings].
