Tipo not responding and running automatically

My 3-4 months old sony experia tipo suddently started behaving wierd today. It's on some kind of an auto-run mode, where it is clicking all the buttons randomly and automatically, like someone is controlling the phone remotely (but no one is). I have tried hard reset, but it never worked, have tried removing battery and inserting again several times, but no luck. Not sure if it is an existing problem and has a fix. If someone who knows about this issue and has a solution, please share. Thanks much.

It's sound like something has happened with the software in your phone.

Have you tried to do a repair of the phone software?

Click on this link to get Sony PC companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Let me know if you are still having this issue after the repair of the phone software.

I already tried this multiple times, the phone is still not fixed - but lost all my data.

Maybe there is something wrong with the hardware in the phone.

If the repair didn't solve it you can contact your local support for further information on how to send the phone to a repair center for investigation:
