It's probably due to these computers have been using the Windows standard drivers for Bluetooth. Using these will almost fail every time on peripheral device. I suggest that if possible use the Bluetooth stack vendor drivers instead.

Hye,

Lately I've been experiencing problems with my bluetooth connection. It can't pair properly with my laptop or any other computers in fact. Windows keep on displaying a message that Bluetooth peripheral is missing with an exclamation mark. Device drivers is missing. My phone was running on Ice Cream Sandwich. I've tried phone repair but it's still not functioning. I even went to Sony service centre and they downgrade my OS back to Gingerbread. It function for a while but then the Bluetooth stops functioning again. Updated again to ICS and still can't connect my laptop with bluetooth. The weird thing is that I can transfer files to other phones but not to PC. Can someone please fix this? Its really irritating and making me feels that sony products are not that good...

Ok. Thanks for the tip but I'm still uncertain on what are the Bluetooth stack vendor drivers actually? Is Sony going to forward this issue to Windows since I'm pretty sure most of us use Windows-powered computers.
