charging problem live with walkman

i seem to have a problem charging my phone. when using the standard charger it refuses to charge. i thought maybe it was a bad connection at first as i've had with other phones but then i found out that if i turn the phone off and on again it charges.

if i use the live dock, then i seem to have the same problem but the red charging light comes on even though it's not charging, so it does recognise that it's plugged in but still doesn't charge.

also when this started it suddenly started draining the battery quicker. i haven't changed any settings but it will now lose about 40% battery overnight when it's just sat on the table not doing anything.

I suggest that you try to run a software reinstall using SUS.

If the problem still remains you should contact your local support team, to have the phone examined and fixed at an repair center.

I tried the update service and the installation failed part way through. It says to check the battery is charged and try again. The battery was fully charged before I started but everytime I retry it fails. Now the phone won't start up - it just flashes up with a picture of exclamation mark and phone when I try to turn it on.
