Sir, my xperia j is getting very slow. Im even facing problem in writing txt messages,it stucks often. I tried to with an attempt by restoring it. but its not getting any faster. plz help

there are few things that you should check

1) are you syncing your fb or picasa albums?

2) do you have yahoo mail?

3) do you have a

a) taskiller?

b) antivirus?

c) RAM app?

d) Battery app?

4) do you have thousands of call logs and/or SMS/MMS?

i had syncronised my fb and gmail accounts .I also had a taskiller and angry birds installed. but my cell wasn't slow then. But from the last two days, i don't khow what happened, its been very slow. So, I restored my phone,but yet i have the same problem. any other options????

uninstall any taskillers, antivirus. also check if you are syncing your albums (fb and google+) if you are do NOT sync them.

I tried....I have unstalled each and every apps that i installed. I even restored my cell twice. But nothing works

Once try to repair the software with SUS, After that dont install any Apps and see.

Hi guys. Also my Xperia J is getting slow. I don't have a lots of aplications installed but is slow still from the first day i've buy it. Browsing in the menu has lag, not always. This phone definitely need's an update

same here guys .. just got my xperia J for 3days and it is lags n slow. 1st day is seems okay but on the 3rd day it became lags n slow. i cant live with this lags. come on sony, fix this problem.

maybe its the ICS that makes the phone unstable. i'd done 2 times software repair already.

p/s .. my phone has no any other apps installed except for the sony's original.

I also had a same problem ,do you update your xperia J to Latest Available Version : 11.0.A.3.28 ?
After the updates ,the problem always come,keyboard get stack..I need to restart my phone .Its just annoying to restart yr phone everyday at 4-5 times 😞

actually i did update to the latest version after my phone became laggy. need to restart it often or it will stay laggy all the time. i think its the ics that makes the phone unstable? maybe the ics needs to be re-developed ? well i guess sony will have to come up with some solutions.

p/s .. my phone is now at sony centre. i sent it to fix this problem. hope it gets better soon.:smileyplain:

I don't update to this last version. I'm affraid the phone becomes really unstable like you say. I'll wait for another update if not appears soon an update i will sell the phone!

Actually not ,I seen that the new build number had improvement at Album.no more blur when you squeeze the ALBUM effect .But i still had laggy on my xperia J ,and I think I want to sent to Sony Centre also .Do you know that Xperia J got JellyBean update in mid-2013 .Deeply in my heart ,I very dissapointed with this xperia J because of this laggy on keyboard when my phone reach temperature at 38celcius.:smileysad:

As we know that Xperia J ,it has come officially in ICS ,we cant blame on it .Maybe Sony must release the new update such as JellyBean.

Yes sony must release the new update soon, but not in mid-2013, it's to late. This phone has been released this year on august, has no dual core processor, only 2gb memory, the gpu is slow and browing on internet is slow, for a new phone is a bullshit. I will sell my Xperia J and i will buy the Xperia P.

Do xperia P have sd card and front camera ?its just a good choices ,Xperia P have special LED light that you can change the colour by download Illumination Bar Notification(:

Xperia P has 16Gb internal memory, no sd card slot! I have to on my J illumination bar aplication and it works pretty good!

man, i dont want to sell this phone yet. it such a waste of money buying this phone. however, i think if sony released J in Gingerbread it would be stable right ? for example Xperia U.

My point is, sony have to come up with new updates for the phone. Throw out unnecessary effects on it so it'll be more smooth. if i sell this phone, it'll be a total waste of money due to the shop where i buy it never take this phone back with high price as i bought it.

I just did the update and it seems to go a bit better. I'll see how it works in the next few days and then maybe I decide to do not sell the phone.
