Volume control glitch?

My Neo V keeps turning up the volume randomly to max and whenever the volume bar near the top shows up I turn it down, but it just goes back up. And it sits there and doesn't let me lock the phone, or occasionally, the phone won't sleep. Then it makes the noise when you press on the volume control repeatedly. It also does that when I have headphones in, just turns the sound all the way up. Is it something wrong with the internal configurations of the phone or the button?

This may be related to an application on the device, I suggest looking through any newly installed applications to see if they are causing the issue.

Are there any obvious indications of an application causing the problem?And if the newly installed applications were causing the problem, how could keep the memory for that app on the phone and still uninstall it? Like, my brother just downloaded a new game, and I like it, so how could I keep the data on my phone?
