hi

i have a problem with a new XA2, don't detect correctly any wifi in the range , where other Sony Xperia device work correctly.

I try to reset to factory default but don't solve the problem.

it seems that the signal receiving antennas have some problems because, if I move near the access point in a certain position, the wifi is seen and I can connect.

I somewhat have the same issue, although I can detect my home Wi-Fi, it is not in a good range. The range is decreased to other phones. Could be because this is a phone that is meant to be in a medium range type of phone but I think this could be an issue because your Wi-Fi is hiding it's SSID and might have to manually input the network.

Bump.

I am having the same issue. I live in an apartment and I can see my neighbour's wifi networks but my own is not even visible even though I also have a Dell laptop and 3 Samsung devices that can connect just fine. Furthermore there are certain password protected networks I just can't connect to. I feel like I wasted my money because this phone forces me to depend on data networks unless I go to Starbucks (I can connect to their wifi via their web portal there.)

<STRIKE>Hola! </STRIKE>

Hello! I have a problem with my Sony Xperia, I can not connect to different wifis.

I also have the problem with Wi-Fi 5 GHz after update to Pie. The phone loses connection very often now. 2,4 GHz works well.
