The following devices can use the IM750 adapter, which is a MHL to HDMI adapter.

Xperia™ Z3/Z3 Dual
Xperia™ Z3 Compact

Xperia™ Z3+/Z3+ Dual
Xperia™ Z5/Z5 Dual
Xperia™ Z5 Compact
Xperia™ Z5 Premium

The Xperia X Series do not support MHL.

May I ask why only a limited number of devices offer MHL compatibility? Do only the high-end devices have the capability for MHL connections?

If so, it's a great marketing trick to get people to buy your top products, but for those of us who have to stick to a budget, it's just sad.

I really enjoy using the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra, and it's a real shame it's not MHL compatible.

Are there any plans in future to extend this capability to your mid-range devices?

Hi @Isa1966, welcome to our community!

The Xperia L2 does not support MHL, so you will not be able to use that and you will need to use for example, a Chromecast if you want to cast media to a TV or similar.
