Waking up the screen without pressing power button?

Is there anyway to wake up the screen without constantly pressing the power button? I checked through the settings and theres no double tap to wake and there doesn't seem to be a sensor to wake up when I take the phone out of my pocket, for example.

as far as it has been reported, the double tap to wake is missing from Xperia XA1. there isn't a feedback yet as to why though.

I am afraid the only alternative in the mean time is to download an app on google play...

Anyway of getting this working?

I've tried numerous apps in the play store that claim to work however all they do is allow you to double tap to sleep which we already have.

Доброго вечера. В sony xperia z3 compact есть такие функции как двойной тап по экрану для его разблокировки и автоматический ответ на звонок при поднесении телефона к уху. Почему бы в этой модели не вшить тоже самое для удобства работы с телефоном. Большая просьба прислать приложения такого рода работающие без проблем на sony xa1 или сделать их в следующей прошивке. Спасибо.

هل هناك على أي حال للاستيقاظ الشاشة دون الضغط باستمرار على زر الطاقة؟ راجعت من خلال الإعدادات و ثيريس لا انقر نقرا مزدوجا لايقاظ وهناك لا يبدو أن يكون جهاز استشعار لتستيقظ عندما أخذ الهاتف من جيبي، على سبيل المثال.
