PLEASE HELP, XPERIA RAY WONT TURN ON !!!!

firstly .. im sorry couse i've bad english .. im malaysian .. my phone wont turn on since i on my bluetooth ..it's suddenly cant turn on .. I tried abridged for many times .. it keep showing ''xperia'' and ''sony'' but wont go to home screen ..

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet". Follow the instructions given to you in the program.

If you have a removeable battery then remove and replace if not hold power and volume up for 15 seconds or untill you feel 3 vibrations

If that fails then you will need to perform a repair

To perform a software repair 1st make sure your phone is fully switched off then start or open PC Companion

Then open Support zone then select Update my phone/tablet then in Blue select Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - At a point it will ask you to connect your phone - Making sure it is switched off hold volume down or back button as directed and connect your USB cable this should enter your phone in to Flash mode and start the repair process

nope .. nothing happen ..it's need to turn on my device 1st to continue the repairing .. but my phone wont turn on .. just keep showing xperia and sony .. the home screen are not showing ..

Remove the battery,after 1 minute put it back in.Download sony update service and repair:

As I said your phone must be switched off and when prompted making sure your phone is switched off hold back or volume down depending on your phone and connect your USB cable

thanks for the help .. i get it now but sorry .. i forgot to tell you .. my phone not just wont turning on but also attacking my sd card .. my sd card no more can read on my pc .. it's broke 100% .. about the pc companion .. the rules to repair my phone is it must inserted sd card before start the repairing .. it seems i need to buy 1more sd card to continue the repair my phone .. and also i might still need your help for my phone .. admin only showing up just for once then he lost on the conversation ..thanks dude ..

When you insert your Sd card into your Pc do you get a drive letter but are unable to enter the card

If you do then open a command prompt ie: open search or run box and type cmd

then in the black box type drive letter followed by : chkdsk /f so for example f: chkdsk /f

This should fix any read errors and then allow your card to be read

i had this problem for 3 days where my phone just wouldn't turn on, i had no flashing lights or anything, it just wouldn't switch on, i searched through the forum with no help that worked for me, then i told a friend about my problem and they took the back off the phone and blew into it and put the battery back in and switched it on, unbelievably it worked, give the phone a good clean and try it before looking for technical solutions, i just saved myself a fortune as i was about to buy a new phone when all it needed was a clean, it seems to me like most of the problems with phones not turning on and similar are simple issues about connection with the battery other than updates and flashing the phone, hope this saves someone some time and money!

Had the same issue,in the same place you plug in to charge your phone,there is a small hole only a small nidle can fit in.it looks like a "reset" hole,after i triyed with a nidle now is on again

Hi My phone also suddenly switched off.. and i am not able to turn it on, and the battery was low before it died, i tried charging it whole night and still not switching on, and not connecting to PC companion.

Please help
