xperia x10 unrecognized via usb cable

my sony ericsson xperia x10 is unrecognized when connecting it to pc via usb cable, although i tried other pc's & Laptops but still not being recognized.

also i did a lot of troubleshooting & read alot of reviews & forums, tried many ways but with no result.

note that same issue is with my friends phone which is xperia x10 also.

Suggest sending it to nearest SE Service Centre to have it look at (both phone and USB cable).

For the phone or any electronic device to get recognized by your PC when connected, you need to have relevant drivers installed on the PC.

Most of the newer Operating Systems have these drivers pre-installed, however some may lack.

Pls try connecting your phone after installing the PC companion.

If the problem still persist, you may need to visit a service centre.

does the LED light turns on when you connect your X10 to any computer? if it doesnt its not your phone it could be your micro USB, you might want to try a new cable
