Sony Ericsson elm j10i2 internet connection problem.

Hi!. i have a problem with my j10i2 phone.I connect the phone to my home wifi (succesful)and then try to log in to my mail adrress for example (but i get the same error on other sites when i try to log in as well) i get this message "Communication failure.Secure connection failed" and i don't know what to do .pls help!

Try this: Main menu--Settings--Connectivity--Internet and Streaming settings--Allow Local conn--YES.

Thank you but it seems the yes option was already selected so is not that.

Does this happen to all websites you are trying to access? does the homepage load and can it be navigated through?

Yes this happens to all the sites i'm trying to acces, and yes the pages load and i can navigate through them.the problem appears only when i try to log in to my accounts.

It sounds like the phone has problems to establish a SSL connection. Try to log in to your services using mobile networks instead of Wi-Fi. See if it makes any difference.

If not, try using the browser Opera mini instead. See if you can log in using that browser.

Hey!

I have the same problem. Since yesterday i cant connect to https sites, it tells me secure connection failed. Also with Opera. Works fine on wifi, but not with gprs or g3 or whatnot. the service provider says that they havent changed anything, and my friends phones work fine with the same service.

My phone is J20i.

i have tried resetting and installing certificates, nothing works, please help.

I have a phone j10i2. I want the phone to the Internet with my computer. It did for me: I did install the hardware and connect the USB cable. And bridge network in my created. And the phone: Menu - settings - Connectivity - USB - Advanced - Internet access - via computer Connection is established. But I sent the computer. I do not see the mobile receiver. The phone to my computer's Internet connection is not.

Thank you for asking and responding to this question. I also experienced this problem. This is the only answer available in the web. I first started conduncting my query in spanish and found nothing. The message in spanish is "Error de comunicación; error de conexión segura." Prior to this I was fully able to navigate, yes: I attribute it to https protocol.

El consejo es instalar Opera Mini, lo hice y he vuelto a navegar con normalidad.

Anyhow, I'd like to know what's the preset browser for J10i phones, and whether the company will publish an updated version anytime soon.

If you mean Javascript, the Elm doesn't support it, although this phone is a Java-OS phone, which is a different matter. Hope that clarifies things!

I'm having the same issue, phone worked fine on facebook until yesterday and now all I get is the communication failure message. Tried to install opera but it says not enough storage space even though I formatted the memory card, help please! It used to say it for some sites such as my email but facebook worked fine until now. other sites are still working ok though

Whenever I try to download any stuff it shows me "Operation Failed"

Please help me to solve the problem. Even the opera mini is not installing.
