i am looking to upgrade an older Sony TV and,despite its mixed reviews,i am interested in a 50 inch Sony Bravia 3.(nice design/budget etc)

however,i have read somewhere that ITVX and BBC Iplayer are not included in the apps and can not be downloaded or installed.this is an issue ,if correct...please can anyone confirm if this is the case?

If that was true then I am sure that the BBC and ITVX (now Sky) would be having some serious words with Sony! What 'official' source did you read that?
