I have to toggle my streaming devices between hdmi ports to get rid of a blank screen. Bravia tv

Hi,

This is driving me crazy!

When I switch my tv on, I get a blank screen with tv sound, from Freesat.

Amazon prime shows the menu but the screen blanks out, again with sound on, when it starts to stream.

All my screen issues are sorted out by switching to another hdmi slot, using tv controls not touching any wires, then switching back to the original.

I can’t work out what’s going on:

picture mode is standard

auto picture off

hdmi is standard format

Does anyone have any ideas, it’s happening with more than one streaming device so looks like it might be the tv?

Hi,

Automatic and manual updates are failing with error 1002. There’s a good WiFi signal though so I’m a bit confused 🫤

Its running vs 7210, rather than 7215 😞

Try a soft reset by holding down the On/Standby button on the remote for over five seconds until the TV does that.

If still no go with the update, it may need a Factory Reset before the TV behaves again 😢
