Hi, my Sony TV KD 49XE8396 has just updated (automatically) and as part of the update BBC iPlayer (and some other TV apps) have been removed. This is a 2017 model tv and is still supported by BBC so I don't understand what Android/Sony are playing at. Fix needed asap or I'll be off to buy a TV that supports the most used TV app in the UK. Smart TV? I dont think so!

Hi @Burtchase Have you looked in Sony Select? I have the same software as you and all the iPlayers are in Sony Select.

Try looking under Live TV & Catchup as well, that's the new "YouView" as far as I can tell.

I found iplayer there on Sony select but after an update to my bravia tv today, I get 'an error has occurred. Please try again later'

Other apps seem to be working
