Bluetooth Pairing sound bar

Hi I’ve just got a XG81 TV and I’m trying to Bluetooth pair it with my existing Samsung HW-J250 soundbar but the TV is not even seeing it. Does anyone know if this is possible to pair or do I need to buy a compatible Sony sound bar?

Did you find away to connect Samsung sound bar to Sony tv via Bluetooth ? as im having the same problem

Hi @Betsy12 The XG81 doesn’t have the A2DP Bluetooth profile to connect to any audio device. What is your full model number, it will start with KD or check that your TV supports A2DP.

Besides the full model number of the TV, can you please also give the full model number of the soundbar?

And some indication of why you want to use Bluetooth, in preference to ARC over HDMI, or Optical connection, if these are available to you?
