Issues with ITV1- keeps asking to enter region post code

All other itv channels work fine but soon as I go on ITV1 it asks me for region code, recognises it but sends me to home page. When I return to itv1 it asks me for the code again. I've tried it many times with no luck. I've done the factory reset twice, unplugged the power, uninstalled app and installed again but nothing helps. Can anyone help please?

Have you tuned the broadcast channels in over a terrestrial aerial?

What region code are you giving?

Are you in Scotland? If so, you can’t have ITV1, you are supposed to have STV instead.

Though if this is the case, give a London (say) postcode, which should get you ITV1.

And STV don’t care where you are.
