I have a Sony kdl-42w706b tv and have lost the ac adapter power cable (not sure what you call it haha). Do I have to buy a very specific one/brand or is there a general one I can buy off say, Amazon?

Hi Laurenkate,

In principle every AC adapter with the correct specs will work.

However, I would recommend to use the original adapter.
