Please help as going to launch the Sony TV out of the window! TV has had WiFi network issues over the past couple of days and menu not allowing me to turn on WiFi tab. It has now resulted in the remote being virtually useless and a factory reset has been completed. The TV is now in safe mode? and the remote only works a digit at a time every 5 minutes or so!! I believe I have tried everything and so please advise?? BTW I have downloaded latest firmware on flash drive but cannot even get as far as the main menu! Lodged a call in at Sony and probably will hear nothing....

Maybe a dumb question: Did you change batteries in the remote?

Please also try if disconnecting the TV from power for some minutes can solve the issue.

I have tried all of the above and it takes at least 5 minutes between each pressing of the remote to function on TV.

Probably there's a technical issue. Please contact support.
