Can anyone show me where the aerial socket is on this TV as I cannot make sense od diagram

Hi Kegweg,

Unfortunately you did not specify if it's an XE, XF, XG or XH model.

Anyway, you should find the connector around here (XH model):

It is XG model, does that make a difference

To help my naivete can you tell me if it is near either side of the reverse and near the top or not

Hi Kegweg,

If you look at the back of your TV it should be located on the lower-mid on the right side.

Presumably, this is the diagram you can’t make sense of:-

The input you want is the upper connector in the little block 5, labelled Cable/Antenna/External Box.

Also described as

5. (RF input), (Satellite input)
• Connections for terrestrial/cable and
satellite.

So just about every synonym in the English language for aerial, but not ‘aerial‘ itself, the name you have been looking for 😢
