KD-55XE8596 remote not responding

I bought a Sony bravia KD-55XE8596 in June 2018 and I've had so many issues with the TV.

1. The remote sometimes doesn't respond meaning the TV is stuck in standby mode until I plug the TV out and then in again

2. The volume randomly shoots upwards when pressing it twice or so. It scares the kids!

3. Recently the TV switches itself on from standby and performs what looks like a system reset (it shows the Sony logo...then switches the TV off...and then it comes back on with the Android logo)

This isn't an old TV and it isn't cheap either. I won't be buying anything Sony again unless this is fixed

If so, have you tried to perform a factory reset?

If this doesn't help I would suggest to contact a service centre.
