Before I contact support, I wonder has anyone experienced issues on usb playback, specifically in my case pressing pause or stop during a movie doesn't work as it keeps on playing. It works fine with the apps and has only begun to be a problem today.

Hi Misty,

Might be an issue of the video file itself. Does it happen with all your videos or just a few?

Maybe try a different player like VLC player.

I only use mp4 or mkv, the same type of files I've been using for the last
few weeks. For it to happen all of a sudden is what puzzles me. It stops/
pauses content fine on netflix. I may contact Sony support later.
