Lip Sync issue

Hi I have Sony KG65AG8 tv and Sony X8500 soundbar..Experiencing quite bad lip syncing issues which I know is not uncommon with soundbars,my question is,is there a particular benefit to connecting satellite box to hdmi in on sound bar,rather than direct in to tv?Obvs have hdmi arc from tv to soundbar also.Have read this may resolve issue.

any advice appreciated!

Wouldn’t it be quicker, easier, and more definitive just to try it?

But otherwise, A/V Sync may be your friend.
