Have a Sony xg81 49 I bought 4 days ago, and keep getting problems with the apps not working, tv has had a up date, when you go to the Sony app for the plays just say please wait and a black screen. Netflix works on it. But have to keep turning the tv off and back on for it to work.
It’s done it 3 times day and yesterday, used to have a Panasonic but that broke after 4 years and couldn’t get the parts so bought this one, The sound and picture on Panasonic I’d say was better than the Sony but hopefully it will last.

Hello, I sent tv back as was not happy with it, it kept going of WiFi and really slow in apps. Also was not very good in a bright room or dark room. Even after a update and factory reset it was the same,

went out and bought a Samsung tu 8500 so much better than Sony.
