Hi, will a standard HDMI cable be good enough to watch content in 4K or do I need a high speed one?

No and yes, in that order.

But look on the cable you have and see what is written on the sleeving; I don’t think there has been a ‘standard’ HDMI cable sold in years.

unless you watch 4k 60 or HDR standard cable should be fine. If you want cheapo look for amazon basic hdmi 2.0 cable
