Freeview Play, integrating the scroll back catchup function with the TV guide, is supposedly available on some newer models, such as XG70. Is SONY maneuvering away from YouView to Freeview Play? More importantly for me, will Freeview Play be part of future firmware for older models?

Hi @khallergard

There is currently no reason to assume Sony will not remain committed to YouView. You could always contact Sony and ask, but I imagine any response to that question from the community here would be speculative at best.
