HDR awful on KD-55XD8577

Strange and annoying things:

On KD-55XD8577 (with HDR and HLG), HDR movies on Netflix and HDR transmission on Eurosport 4K, displays dark pictures and distorted colours, with yellow and grey tint, no matter the advanced settings I made. On KD-55XD7005 (HDR, but no HLG), which is half price than KD-55XD8577, the colours are vivid and the picture is bright on the same movies and transmission.

Any explanations?

I am very dissapointed and frustrated with my KD-55XD8577.

I'm sorry you are talking about 2016 models that were not engineered for HDR at hardware level (see https://www.flatpanelshd.com/review.php?subaction=showfull&id=1462946905 ).

Than it depends also on how you did set both.

Thank you very much for your reply. It is clear for me now. I hoped that with a new update of software it could be solved this issue, but I think my Tv reached its limits, unfortunately. All the best!
