IPTV on VPN Bravia

hi,

I can view tv channels using IPTV on my sony bravia andoid TV with no VPN.

If I connect to pureVPN I cannot view any channel and get an ‘Error playing channel’ message.

Any suggestions as to how I can view IPTV using vpn?

Have you established if your VPN is working properly on the TV, by using something other than IPTV? For instance, can you access the play store, or load you tube clips with the VPN connected?

If other apps/services are working then it perhaps indicates that IPTV doesn't work with that particular VPN. You could also try removing and re-installing IPTV and/or the VPN to see if that helps.

If other apps/services are also broken, then the VPN client isn't working on the TV and you will need to try another.

I loaded another playlist and most of the channels work with the vpn so the problem appeared to be with the first playlist.
