Software update problem KD-55XF9005

Hello,

I have a KD-55XF9005 (software version PKG6.5631.0178EUA).

From https://www.sony.dk/electronics/support/lcd-tvs-android-xf90xx_x90xxf-series/kd-55xf9005/downloads I learn that a newer version is awailable. New version is PKG6.6545.xxxx.

I am aware that the automatic download may be delayed based on the rollout defined by Sony.

I have tried to download and upgrade using USB. But without success. When I insert the USB-pen in the TV nothing happens. I have been waiting (long time), and turning off/on the TV. No success.

Any suggestions?

Try to unzip the downloaded file with WinRAR...

I did use 7-zip with no success. Using WinRAR made no difference. 😞

The automatik update has been completed. No need for usb update.

I still do not know why it did not work, but for now, No further answers needed.
