Sony Android TV

I have bought a 65X805C Android TV and really like it apart from some firmware issues it's a great TV. I'm currently having a kitchen refit and plan to have a TV in there and want an Android TV, but the issue face is that Sony will only go down to 43" and this is too wide for my needs.

What I'd like to know is if Sony is planning to come out with a 40" variant of an Android TV? I really want to buy a Sony Andriod TV, but have also looked at the Panasonic 40" FirefoxOS TV, but that is not what I want. I really hope Sony will accommodate customers who need at minimum 40" TV in the Android TV variant.

Please make it happen Sony 🙂

Hi there

There are only 3 models in Sony's 2016 line up that are 40" or less. Unfortunately none of them are Android based.

Smart TV

WD75 - 49" 43" and 32"

WD6 - 48" 40" and 32"

Non-Smart

RD4 - 40" and 32"
