How do I use this facility on a Sony KD43X8305C TV?

You will need a RMT-TX100E Touchpad Remote Control. There is an Introduction/ Tutorial on how to use it on the TV. I believe it is simply used for browsing the web. See pages 10-12 in the manual. I have no idea if it works with UK models but the pairing setup is available in the Settings.

You tweaked my curiosity, so I bought a genuine Sony Touchpad with voice control from fleabay for £20. It works really well. So basically anywhere you see a search facility like in YouTube etc the voice entry works really good. Plus the touchpad for navigating everywhere, especially in the web browser. Really quick voice entry for URLs. A good addition.
