Hi,

My tv model number KD-49x8005c asked to be updated on Friday which I started then went out. When I tried to switch the tv on on Saturday it did not respond via remote, the power button on the tv or the remote on my phone. I unplugged the tv for it to reset and when I plugged it back in the Sony logo faded in as usual but then went black abruptly like it had crashed. This is all I can get the tv to do. I have unplugged it, tried a different power source, unplugged hdmi and usb cables and nothing. No lights showing at the bottom, no response. Please advise what to do next! I know the screen is working because the Sony logo shows everyone after I unplug it. Thanks!

Hi there,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

I would recommend getting in touch with the Sony Support team here who will be able to look into this issue for you further.

Let me know how you get on?

Best wishes,
Sean Mc
