All Streaming Apps Missing or Not Working

Both my Sony bravia TVs failing to display apps this having occurred it seems after the update to remove the 5 on demand app. Anyone else experiencing the same

Which model TVs do you have?

Have you tried resetting them (if possible?)

I have given up now after two factory resets and the usual rebooting of the tv etc. This is not the first time I have experienced problems with the apps being unavailable and will not be buying a Sony again. The only way I can access the BBC iPlayer is by selecting the red button on the remote and still no guide menu displaying.

After researching further on internet found and tried a solution given to changing the primary and secondary dns settings. This has worked and all apps are now accessible.
