Is there any way to reduce the backlight blooming on my tv?

I have had the television professionally isf calibrated and the backlight is only on 2 but when you get white subtitles on a black screen I find the blooming around the subtitles is quite distracting even with some lights on in the room.

Apart from this the tv has a great picture with no banding or dirty screen effect.
