Home button not working

I have a Bravia TV and the home button stopped working on the remote. i just bought a new remote. And the home button isn't working on it either.

Does anyone happen to know how i can fix this issue?

Which model TV do you have?

Is it new?

Have there been any recent updates?

Have you managed to try a reset on the TV?

No idea about update because its been set to auto-update. Ive tried to update in case a patch had been released but it says I'm all up to date.

I have reset the tv but I don't think its a hard reset as I'd expect to have to re-enter wifi codes etc.

I've read a lot about people having this problem going back years but none of the solutions work in my case.

Obe guy said the only way tonresolve this is tp call sony. But i work a long eay from home and in nwver there during the week...

Here are some instructions for the factory reset,

which should wipe all settings / logins / account details etc.

Failing that, I'm afraid contacting Support really is the only option.
