KD-55AF8 Favourite Channels

We bought our new TV a month ago and are struggling to find helpful instructions on simple things. We would be so grateful if someone here could help us.

Problem no 1 is viewing our favourite channels. I have managed to highlight our favourites and these are all set (I did this through settings). But I can’t see how you can view these favourites. In the Sony instructions it says to select the ‘discover’ button on our remote, sounds simple. Only our remote doesn’t have a ‘discover’ button, see picture

problem no 2 is deleting unwanted channels. I go to settings - channel setup - analogue setup - programme sorting, which takes me to a list of all channels. It says if I want to delete a programme select <+>. Again, sounds simple. But when I do this (the button in the centre of the circle) nothing happens. Can someone please help with this too!

Hi Michael,

no I haven’t, maybe mistakenly assumed that it’s up to date as it’s brand new? How can I check?
