Sony X900F Problem With Input Label

Hi, I have a problem with my input labels, when I try to change it to a preset it works and shows the name I chose, but when I type a name I chose and press enter it immediately takes me to the home screen and doesn't change it to what I wrote, it stays the same name it was before. The strage thing is that it worked before I have inputs that have a customized name but now when I try to do it to another one it doesn't work 🤦🏾‍♂️. Please can someone help ???

Hi RedPepperChut,

I'm not sure if it is worth it to you at this point, but since the firmware is already up to date and given that this seems to be a software glitch, your best bet would be to factory reset the TV.

Hi.,

Have you tried disconnecting your devices first then going in and changing the labels before plugging them back in?

Hi RedPepperChut,

Does clearing the cache by going to Settings - Storage and reset - Internal storage - Clear cache help in any way? What are the external devices that you connect to the your TV?
