pixel problem on curved tv

KD65 sd8505 exactly 2 years old, pixels have stopped working causing a black line to start appearing - really anoying on a £2300 product.

Anyone else experienced this on curved tv? Sony seems to be phasing out curved tv's - interesting.

Hi pahunte97,

There are a couple of things on the check list here:

1- Does the line appear over all content (Through menus, while watching TV, when using an app, when using an external input)?

2- Does the line persist if you remove all external devices connected to the TV (If any) and restarting it?

3- Is the TV's firmware up to date?

4- Perform a factory reset.

Many thanks for the suggestions, Sony have now agreed that is a genuine
panel failure which is quite unusual. Replacement arranged.
