Alexa support for Sony Android TVs

Hey All and Sony if you're reading this, I'd love a response from you.

Ive been reading that a firmware update is about to be rolled out to 2016/17 TVs to allow Alexa integration for voice control of the TV. This is fantastic news as i have echo dots all over my house, however, I have 2015 Model 65x8509c. Does anyone know whether the feature will also be rolled out to the 2015 range in the future, or is it only going to be available on the 2016/17 models?

Also, any idea of timescales for this feature being available in the U.K.?

Seriously, am I the only one that is concerned about the massive privacy issues over these 'always on' listening/looking devices??

To answer your question, I have sent an email to Sony requesting more info and the likelyhood of it being available in the EU/UK

At present, there are no current plans to introduce Amazon Echo (Alexa) support in the UK/EU market. A suggestion is to contact Amazon UK (or EU) themselves to highlight this.
